Been a member here for a while, thought I would finally introduce myself.  My name is David. I have been involved in emergency services for thirty years.  Began as a "Five Pointer" with Palmyra Ambulance back in the days when we still had Cadillacs.  Joined the Palmyra Fire Department on my eighteenth birthday.  Became a paramedic in Camden, NJ(West Jersey Health System) at twenty.  Went on to serve with the Riverton and Mt. Laurel Fire Departments.  In the mean time, did a lot of fire photography in Philadelphia and Camden.  Also became involved in building emergency vehicle models.  Went on to become a registered nurse, and relocated out of the area.  Now work as a flight nurse in Philadelphia.  Really miss the fire service, but family commitments and work commute keep me from getting involved locally at this time.  I really enjoy looking at this site, and know that I have only "scratched the surface" of all the great posts and information here.  The only problem is that every time I look around here, I walk away with another ten model projects that I want to build...(LOL).  Seriously though, you have a great site here.  I hope to be able to contribute here in the future.
