Seagrave model

Can anyone help? I'm searching for a discontinued Corgi model #US50504 which is a safety-sedan style 1:50 scale model Seagrave pumper that is red in color and is NOT the white colored one replicating the Tanafly squad which is white in color. This is also NOT the canopy-style pumper. Another unique identifying characteristic of this model is that the hydrant-sleeve is pre-connected to the front mounted big-way and then flaked back over the curb-side fender. If anyone knows where I canlocate this model please e-mail me at:
d.e.boyd@comcast.net
. Thanks.

Hello All,
Well, I received several responses regarding my call for help in trying to locate a discontinued Corgi model Seagrave.
As a result, I called 12 different hobby shops and NOTHING! Folks, I think this matter is at an end and my collection
of model fire apparatus will simply have to do without the Seagrave Safety Sedan pumper (Detroit style). Thanks for
all the help I received - - let call it aday.

If it helps. I've attached a photo of what Dan is looking for.
Also, I'm sure you have tried
http://www.notatoy.com/product_info.php/cPath/0_159/products_id/1147
.
They don't "say" they are out of stock.

Hello Start Water,
thank you. I will give these two places a call Monday morning - - these are two that I have not tried (didn't know about them) so perhaps something will show up. The model I'm looking for is 1:50 scale - - whish they made this thing in 1:24.
I wish we could contact these model companies and give them a liist of models we would like for them to replicate - - they'd
make a fortune - -but they don't seem to pay any attention to us. I responded a good while ago to a survey from one that I can't recall which one--haven't seen it yet. Thanks again.

Dan,
Don't give up hope! If you are a model builder, I might have a lead for you in 1/25 scale. There is a company called "Uptown Automotive"(
http://www.uptown-automotive.com/
). They have both an open cab and a closed cab listed in their catalog.
http://www.uptown-automotive.com/car-images/799603big.jpg
I don't know if you know about it, but there is also a great website for emergency vehicle modelers called "The Scale Firehouse"
http://scalefirehouse.com/sfh_chat/index.php?sid=76f2222367ff385c54c9d01074d84e20
There are a bunch of great guys there, always willing to share ideas, techniques, resources, and reference information. If you haven't been there before, check it out! Good luck with your project.

Is this it as part of a set on eBay?
http://cgi.ebay.com/US-FIRE-HEROES-SEAGRAVE-ANNIVERSARY-SET-DETROIT_W0QQitemZ140369261346QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN?hash=item20aea8f322
Yea, its from the UK, its pricey, and in a set, but at least they seem to have it and they ship worldwide.

Dave and others:
thank you for the reply -- I'll visit the websites and see that happens - - will let you know. I am aware of the Corgi
set that has the model I want. However, I already have several of that set obtained individually.

I did visit the websites suggested (Uptown Automotive & The Scale Firehouse) and did't find my model. However, I have to say to anyone that hasn't seen them (as I had not before) these are two great sites. thanks again.

I talked to Bill at Past-Time Hobbies, he told me he thinks he can track one down. Updates to follow, hopefully!

I sure hope Bill can come up with my Seagrave Safety Sedan fire engine -- the fire burns on!
