Lawrence Volunteer Fire Association
« on: November 18, 2009, 01:13:17 AM »
This is a photo of our firehouse as it looked around 1949.  The engines are a 1949 Maxim S model 750 GPM pumper and a 1931 Sanford. The name changed officially in 1953 to Lawrence Road Fire Company. It's now known as Mercer County Station 22. It's located in Lawrence Township NJ, which is located between Trenton and Princeton.

Here are 2 photos of the Lawrence Volunteer Fire Association's original frame building. It housed a hand-drawn chemical wagon which is shown on the second photo.
