The Elmira Fire Department is a career department of 60 fire fighters (actually 54 at current time) divided into four shifts and a fire prevention office. Two Engine companies, one truck company and a deputy chief are front line with a Haz-Mat, technical rescue and some reserve and utility vehicles. Official EPFFA web site is www.elmirafire.org.
