City of Easpointe Fire Department was orginally started in 1921 as the Village of Halfway Fire Department.  The first ambulance was purchased in 1945 and ALS transport was added in 1998. 

The department has 30 members, covering 5.1 miles in a suburban metropolitan setting which house many industrial buildings and almost 800,000 residents.  In 2004 the fire departmnet ran over 3,200 calls.

This unit replaced the International pictured above.  It's an exact copy of the earlier Bruan except for moving of a ceiling O2 outlet and addition of a timer for the checkout lights.  I have a short video showing the flashing patteren of this unit which is like no other I've seen or dealt with.  Now I need to figure a way to post it!
