Hamsexy is great for 'overboard' radio installation. As long as I don't show up on their site, I know I don't have too many radios! :)

Master squirrel says do you really need 7 pagers? One beeps and you spend the next 20 minutes figuring out which of the 7 it was :)

Greg,

Don't post the photo of minor amount of equipment that you keep at work, show folks a photo of the large setup you have at home.....

I would like just one that works well enough to pick up a clear signal for the C.F.D. from the forests of Edgewood almost 10 miles distant!

Steve,

I am almost embarrassed to admit this, but I have a (outdated) Bearcat  BC-245 that seems to be very sensitive here in the D/FW area on 800-UHF (trunking) and VHF...good for over 50 mi. for sure with just the "duckie."

Well, for the moment I have three working scanners: a Pro2096 digital, a Pro94 h.h., R.S. Triple-Trunker b/m.

Just curious to know how many of you guys are having to receive APCO 25 digital stuff. Here in TX everyone's trying to go digital, but there's still quite a bit  of analog VHF and analog trunking still in  use.

Here's one you'll like to chew over:  In Abilene, TX, the local police chief has had their new APCO 25 digital system totally encrypted, where not even the media can monitor any P.D. traffic. I understand that Fire/EMS is still monitorable.
