Does anybody use the chat other than "chat nights"?  I belong to several Yahoo groups and the chat there, although it kicks people off alot, was used quite a bit and I got to know some of the other group members alot better and we exchanged alot of info in the chats.

Anyone who wants to can use the chat at any time ... its there for you guys to use.

I encourage you folks to use the resources of the site as much as possible.  That's what they are there for.  

I tested it a few days ago ... unfortunately, I was the only person on the site at the time, and noone followed me in.

Crud, I missed the last chat night. Sorry about that guys. I haven't forgot about putting an ad up for the chats on the site. Just got swamped with another project.

Apparently some people are interested in reestablishing the chat night so I'm going to set up a chatroom. We'll try getting together Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 at 8pm EST and see who shows up. I'll be posting some information here about how to log in to the chat room shortly.

if any one wants to chat  i am here most nights  send a email to battlelamp@aol.com  I  am available  almost 24/7  .  i am retired  ,and have been a vol military ff and a officer in philadelphia  FD .  if in the area  my door is always open .  and have a large collection.  I am pretty good with philly area history .
