I was reading through the topics and found your conversation. I grew up in the Canfield Fire Dept. and was a member for a while. My Dad served 33 years on the dept. I can remember some of the rigs till the late 80s They were 901- 54 American Lafrance, 902- 56model ford tanker, 903- 65 model dodge station wagon( Kelly Oakleys chiefs car) 904- 70 model walk-in box rescue and later mini rescue with extended cab, 905- 50 model Dodge power wagon(Grass fire rig) and later a 70 model jeep, 906- 72 model ford pumper, 907- 78 or 9 model sutphen. I can also remember when Bobby Tieche was a probie himself.
