FAQ 003a - How to Resize an Image Using Image Resizer
« on: September 04, 2003, 04:16:09 PM »
You'll need to resize the image using some type of image editing software. I found this one on the net. It's free and it's only about 317K to download.

http://www.imageresizer.com/

1. Once you download and install it, run the program.

2. Photos are typically in .jpg format, if this is the case with the photo you want to resize, click on the JPG tab.

3. On the right side, you should be able to navigate your way to the directory that your images you want to resize are in.

4. Left click on the file you want to resize. In the box marked file resize, try 600 in there.
(You may have to lower that number until you get something under 200K. )

5. Click the RESIZE box and your image will be renamed mini-whatever.jpg

6. You can then try and attach that new smaller file onto your post.
