Copied from the files of American La France in 1975.
1917 American La France Type 12 Triple Combination,Register No.1529,Neg.No.3171,shipped on May 12,1917. This was the first A.L.F. that Youngstown had.The number on the hood appears to be 12.
Station No.12 was not built until 1931--- so why the No.12 on the engine and where wasit's first assigned quarters???

Y.F.D. copy of an American LaFrance photo.Registered No.3306 dates the truck to 1921.Double row of louvers on the hood indicate a factory rebuild in the late '20s.
Truck Co.No.2 was housed in old No.5 Station.
