# 3.  Youngstown,Ohio 2nd Central Fire Station; N.E. corner of Hazel & Boardman Streets. The first Central Fire Station, " the Govenor Todd Engine No.1" , a wooden structure,was built on the same site.

 Y.F.D. Station No.3,S.W. corner of Thomas (Arlington) & Foster.

Opened as a single bay station in 1899,the second bay was added prior to 1910.
The 2nd size steam engine was built by the Nott Fire Engine Co. and placed in service October 28,1906. The photo was probably taken in 1908

Y.F.D. Station No.4, Falls Ave. near Oak Hill.Opened Dec.26,1896 closed April 1,1972. Demolished May 12,1975.

Y.F.D. Station No.5 opened Jan.9,1897. This building was taken down to make way for the current No.5 station which was built in 1949,corner of Oakland & Superior.

Y.F.D. Station No.6 at Wilson Ave.  This original No.6 was opened Oct.19,1896. Station 6 was enlarged to a two bay station prior to 1910.

This house was closed in 1960 with the opening of the new No. 6 Station at Oak & Shely. Old No. 6 was used by the Fire and Traffic Signal Dept. until about 1977. Demolition of old No.6 occured between 1977 and 1980 (?).
