Annual After Christmas, Christmas Party

Howdy everyone!!

Hope your holidays went well, and its time to announce the GYMA's annual After Christmas, Christmas Party.

Lots going on this year, with the addition to our first annual scanner-a-thon to raise money for the club.  We will have a business meeting along with much food and fun.  All club members are asked to bring a covered dish or dessert for the party, and as many scanners as you can drag with ya for the scanner-a-thon.

We will be meeting on January 13th at 5:30 PM, with dinner at 6 PM at the Boardman United Methodist Church on Market Street in Boardman, just North of the Southern Park Mall.

Come join us and see what the club is all about!

For more information, go to www.gyma.org

Howdy everyone!

The March 2007 meeting of the Greater Youngstown Monitoring Association is coming up on March 17th, at our usual 7 PM time.

Yes, this is St Patricks Day, so wear your green!!  Also, I have declared it "Bring your Photo ID Badge Night" ... so everyone bring as many of your photo ID's that you can with you.

We will have our general business meeting night, with Pizza and pop to follow.  Hope to see you all at our meeting at Boardman United Methodist Chruch on Market Street in Boardman.  For you Ham Radio Operators, we will be on the MVARA Repeater, 146.745 ... you can ask for directions there.

See you there!

I won't be able to make this meeting. I have to be at station 1 in the am, for training with the CFD Aux. We're doing training with the heavy rescues.  I might be able to make the next one, depending on work schedule.

For anyone interested, the GYMA will be having its Annual Summer Picnic this Saturday, July 21 at 4:30 PM at the Boardman United Methodist Church on Market Street, just North of the Southern Park Mall.

Come out and join us, and bring a covered dish if you would like!

So If I am off that night, and I can make it the long, long, long drive out to Boardman, what kind of crazy antiks can I expect at this shindig?
