Hi everyone!
I'm still searching for fire apparatus manufacturer logos! I have 2 or three new ones to post very soon but I'm looking for more. There are lots on the list we are lacking. Please take a look at the Fire Manufacturer list here at

Thanks!

To help you with one of the unknown logos. Steel Craft built inexpensive tankers for fire departments in and around North Carolina The most recent name for the firm was Craft Steel industries ( They also manufactured agricultural equipment) and they were located in Farmville NC an approximate date for this logo would be 1979-1980

The "International" and "International 2" logos you have posted are both 1984 or newer logos. Both contain the Navistar logo. Navistar bought the International Harvester Truck Division in mid-1983 and began production of the Navistar/International truck for the 1984 sales year.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Dan Williams, I am the owner of D. E. Williams Shields. I am currently building a hot rod 1925 American Lafrance type F fire engine. I noticed that you have the American LaFrance logo for this era on your web site. I have a company that can reproduce the emblem for me, but I need a good photo of the original
My question is this, Can you Email me good tif or bitmap image of the early logo/emblem that is on your web site? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Dan Williams

Benn checking out your logo's list and comparing it to mine. I will photogragh about 67 different logo's I have that you don't have. Some are the smaller companies, a few that i worked for that no longer exist. I have a collection of America laFrance logo's from various periods as well..also worked there, Pierce, KME and Carmar, American Fire apparatus in Ball Ground Georgia, Rescue Technologies, Protrac, and sold for FireCab. Currrently work for Roush engineering at International Truck and Engine
