Go to http://www.carolinasfirepage.com/ and click on live dispatch for Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. It has the dispatch and fireground channels for both. It is fairly busy, so stay and listen a while!

Houston, Texas now has what must be the oddest dispatch that can be monitiored.  The initial dispatch for any type of run is preceeded over the radio by the sound of a ringing telephone, then a tone alert, followed by a computer generated voice dispatch!

Since I've started this post I've heard 10-12 runs dispatched, I don't think I'll get use to this! This sounds the same as if you were calling a non working phone number or a similar type of computerized directory.  Oh for the good old days of human dispatchers....

This isn't actual dispatch, but Seattle has a link on their web site where you can view current and archived dispatch information:

http://www2.seattle.gov/fire/realtime911/getDatePubTab.asp

Currently you can locate alarm information as far back as 11/07/03.

Some of you have asked about Philly and DC feeds. www.firefeeds.com has both, and many more. Its a small monthly subscription, but you get alot of access.
Philly is very busy, especially during the week-day hours of 10am-1pm.

Probably the highest ratio of fire to "shoe runs" (medical) I have heard.

Forthose of you interested in California go to

www.mattlogic.com

and click on the online scanners, he has almost all of California covered from Highway Patrol to California Department of Forestry.   For those of you who are back east and wanna hear some action monitor California Department of Forestry or USFS during wildland fire season, It gets pretty exciting listening to forest fire ops.

We have started a TeamSpeak server for live scanner audio. Download the Client program from http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=downloads.

Our server address is : 67.18.58.10:8811

We're looking for anyone who wants to set-up a live feed. It's very simple, and can be done in less then 5 minutes. All you need is a computer (w/broadband internet connection), a scanner, and an 1/8" to 1/8" mono cable.

Anyone interested can contact me directly.

I tried the above link and it no longer works. Try
http://24.167.13.155:8000/listen instead. I just heard them tone out or should I say the computer tone out. They hired the same guy as the National Weather Service uses on their weather frequencies :)

He is streaming Tonto National Forest & AZ State Land right now, during winter he has Mesa Fire & Mesa Police

If it says server error, there may be too many people logged into it, or he may not have his scannet on, its not 24 hr feed, usually only during the day.  The TontoNF is one of the busiest forests in country for fires due to all the lakes and rivers bring in lots of people, & the northern part of the forest is one of the hardest hit areas by lightning in the country as well

Hey all,

www.scanmiamivalley.com is a great site for live ohio fire/ems communications.....I host the Cuyahoga County feed, and there are several other parts of the state represented.

My feed covers southern and western Cuyahoga County, Medina County, and Lorain County Fire/EMS. It also monitors the SW Cleveland MARCS site.
