Riverside Hose Co. #4 1941 Seagraves Tarrytown, NY. This is believed to be the first truck to successfully use two way radios.

This war-model Seagrave is owned by Huntsville, AL.  It carries a 750 GPM pump and a 65' ladder.  It was delivered last week to Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus to be completely restored.
I plan to visit BMFA about every two months and will photograph the progress of this restoration each time until it is complete, then travel to Huntsville and photograph the final result.  I'll post the photos here as I get them.

Found this photo on eBay (June 2004) of a 1941 Diamond T (COE) Seagrave ladder truck for Cape Elizabeth (Maine?). This factory photo was fetching up around $30 so far, possibly more. Unique looking rig. Even for a Maxim nut, I have to say that I like it! Hopefully nobody posted this elsewhere on the site!

Political Correctness (def.) - a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
